BOOK COVER REDESIGN
Coleção Amarela

In 1929, the Italian publisher Arnoldo Mondadori launched the successful series of detective novels “Il Giallo Mondadori”. In 1931, the old Editora Globo brought this collection to Brazil as “Coleção Amarela”, with translations by renowned writers such as Érico Veríssimo and Clarice Lispector. The series was discontinued in the 1970s. Drawing from this legacy, I present a proposal for new covers for the re-launch of “Coleção Amarela”. In partnership with Amazon, our mission includes creating a new logo for the collection and complete covers for the first four volumes, featuring AI-generated images that capture the essence of each book.
Inspired by the 15 puzzle, the covers of the Coleção Amarela reflect the complexity of detective plots with interconnected visual elements, creating a cohesive identity and symbolizing the unfolding of mysteries.
